Silentlambs was started twenty years ago as one of the only Worldwide 501 C 3 non- profits to assist Jehovah’s Witness abuse survivors and report abuse. Since that time we have been contacted by well over 10,000 victims of JWorg policies and in the process have reported over 700 JW child molesters. How many children were protected as a result? We will never know, but in the end that is the mission of Silentlambs.
In the course of our contacts we have been given incriminating information about members of the Governing Body. On September 27, 2002, for the first time, a currently serving member of the Governing Body - Ted Jarecz – was accused By Pat Garza, a Jehovah’s Witness in good standing, of molesting her as a child. Over one hundred and twenty-five ‘Witnesses’ also attended and requested a meeting with the Service Department to report numerous Jehovah’s Witness child molesters that were currently serving as Elders, Ministerial Servants, and Pioneers; that were pedophiles. The Service Department rejected and ignored the victims’ eyewitness testimonies.
Since that time, eight past and current members of the Governing Body have been accused of molesting children. At Silentlambs we encourage anyone with allegations of abuse to come forward and see what can be done to bring them to justice. Recently allegations of child molestation were brought forward that involved Fred Franz the now deceased “Oracle” of JWorg and Stephen Lett a currently serving Governing Body member.
Silentlambs requests if you know of anyone (past or present JW) that was molested by these men, please come forward and bear witness to their crimes against children. You can remain anonymous if you wish or go public, we can assist you with how to bring forth charges. Pedophiles never typically molest just one child, as statistics show the average molester with hurt two hundred or more children in their lifetime.
